About Anna, Lic. Ac, MBAcC

Anna Konkurowich - Netsah is a fully qualified acupuncturist and Member of the British Acupuncture Council. She graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) in 1987 and has 30 years experience in clinical practice.

Anna worked as an acupuncture practitioner at the ICOM clinic for 25 years, and was a member of the teaching staff for 20 years as a clinic supervisor and lecturer.

She currently treats patients at her private practice in Crowborough, as well as teaching postgraduate courses in the practical application of Stems and Branches Acupuncture, the style of acupuncture she follows.

She originally trained with the pioneer of acupuncture in the UK, Dr J. D. Van Buren, founder of the International College of Oriental Medicine. Following this, she has continued her studies with Joan Duveen and Peter van Kervel in Holland and UK, who are the leading teachers in Stems and Branches Acupuncture.

Anna's journey to acupuncture started in 1974, when she was an Art History student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She wrote an article about this for the International College of Oriental Medicine, which you can read by clicking here.
